A Gay Night Special
Spotted outside the entrance of Tantric last night: a group of hooligans stripping a drunk Malay writer naked.

And this is what I call love!

While Joey and I were foaming and frothing in boredom, we concluded that we were in desperate for ANY form of escapade... even if it meant a very very short yet fascinating egress from the hustle and bustle of life.
So, we embarked on an exhilarating make-believe getaway from reality... from the highest floor of Harbourfront Towers... to the summit of Mount Faber. Heh. The journey took a mere 10 minutes. Nonetheless we traveled in a luxurious, world-class cable car, which we were so enthralled about that we forgot our fear of heights!
We landed at The Jewel box which was nestled at the lush, tropical hilltop where the panoramic view of the city skyline was breathtakingly beautiful.
Our first stop out of the three restaurants was Empress Jade for our appetizers, soup and lobster! Everything. Was. Divine.
Still feeling gluttonous, we proceeded to The Black Opal, where the decor was absolutely sleek and lavish, to stuff our faces with more food and desert.
We were well-fed, drowsy but feeling absolutely awesome :) Jealousy?
Much love,
Rachel
